when doing research, my advice is to collect information in as much references as possible about your topic as it helps lengthen your paper. find and use more than the minimum amount of references.
get an early start on the research and reading the information. writing the paper gets easier when you know what to talk about and which references to cite. for those who work best under pressure, getting an early start on the research wouldn't be so bad.
